It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor and coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. In line with Microsoft's new strategy of focussing on specific segments, Microsoft also launched the Lumia 550. Design wise, they are unassuming and are made out of plastic and will not turn heads. The Lumia 950 is also slimmer at 8.2mm and weighs 150 grams, which is again an improvement for Microsoft's phones. The Lumia 950 XL is 8.1mm thin and weighs 165 grams, which makes it lighter than the iPhone 6S Plus. Microsoft has also made these new Lumia smartphones are slimmer and lighter. Microsoft's phones have Nokia's PureView technology and a massive 1/2.4-inch sensors with 1.12 um pixels, which by the way is the same as the new iPhone 6S.
